Val has been my running saviour. I started working with her at a low point after being injured, she helped get me to the start line of the race injury-free which was a phenomenal achievement.
From there, we've continued to work together to smash my targets and I look forward to breaking new personal bests with her in the future.

When we first took Liam who had just turned 13 years old to Val for strength & conditioning coaching sessions to help his rugby and general fitness, you can never be totally sure how it might go.
But right from the start Val’s positive approach took Liam from a wobbly core and no proper balance through compound exercises to a lean fit strong 14 year old lad who loves the sessions with Val.
Liam and I have found Val to be professional, caring, thoughtful and educational - helping Liam learn about doing exercise properly, how diet helps your fitness and body mechanics for Liam’s individual fitness needs.

Even when I've felt like I didn't want to train I can wholeheartedly say that I've enjoyed our sessions and been glad that I pushed myself to go.
​I can honestly say that I'm excited to see what I can achieve with Val’s help and highly recommended that you give it a go too.
I decided to use Val at first to help me with weightlifting techniques as I was injuring myself from never having learned the proper way to lift weights.
I then entered a 12 week strength programme where I had some amazing results - from going to not being able to dead lift properly to managing 3 reps of 120kg (previous was about 100). More than happy with my results, it's helped with confidence in life and in football whenever I play.
Use Val she is excellent!

Val is a knowledgeable, passionate fitness professional and will absolutely help you to hit your goals. The remote programming is excellent and fully recommended.
I trained with Val for a few months to improve ongoing issues with injury and not being able to stick to a consistent exercise plan. I wanted to work on my form and strength so that I could build up my fitness without experiencing the pain and ongoing injuries.
Val is extremely knowledgeable and patient and I learned how to do key exercises correctly and built up my strength and fitness levels through strength training and challenging circuit style workouts.
She also went the extra mile by giving me workouts to do at home in between sessions and spoke directly with my physio so they could work together to improve my fitness. I now have no more knee pains, no injuries and am exercising more than ever.
I highly recommend Val especially if you want to improve the way your body functions and build up your strength.

Val’s coaching is second to none! 7 months ago I enquired about weekly sessions with her to get myself back into fitness and I haven’t looked back since.
She’s taught me to shift my focus when it came to training, worrying less about the results based on what the scales say, but more about the results I was seeing in the gym and the PB’s I was achieving week on week.
From Olympic weight lifting and rope climbs to handstands and CrossFit workouts - Val has got me doing things in the gym I never ever thought I’d be able to do. And I feel so much better for it!
Along with all that, Val is lovely and so easy to talk to which always makes a tough work out just that little bit easier.
Val you are a legend - thank you for making me fall in love with weightlifting!
After the remoteness of COVID we wanted to train in person again, with a plan and a focus.
I am so pleased we found Val. We train as a foursome (sometimes 5!) family unit of two adults and two teens.
Val always creates a learning environment, free from judgement or criticism, and she is brilliant with the teenagers (far more patient than I am).
Val trains us physically and mentally and we look forward to the Whiteboard of Wisdom and the mediation that bookend each session.
I cannot recommend Val highly enough.

I stumbled upon one of Val’s posts in Oct 2020 when I was interested in taking my own training to the next level and learn more about strength training. I have been having weekly sessions with her ever since and what an amazing person she is.
I don't see Val as a traditional PT but an all-round coach, someone who is completely invested and interested in helping you set and achieve goals not just in the gym but mentally.
I thought I was going to learn about strength training but I have learnt so much more about myself, tapping into things that have held me back in the past. She's helped me to step outside of my comfort zones and realise my full potential.
Val has also taken my teenage son under her wing and he is soaking up all the information she passes to him and she has helped him on his own career path.
If Val ever says the workout is going to be fun or uses the word spicy you know you’re in for a treat.
